Looking at the road ahead
When seeing a vehicle from the front entering the lane, sound the horn or flick the headlights as a warning
Act by moving to the left
If the driver of the vehicle in front of the tidalk heeds the warning given, the next action is to adopt a CITO routine to ensure safe conditions before moving left
Reducing speed
Release the accelerator pedal, use the brake pedal effectively and change gears from D to 3 to assist in engine braking if necessary to reduce speed. Control the steering wheel neatly.
Drive off the road
Practice the CITO routine again and move left to get out of the danger situation or the road to avoid a collision. This is a smart move to prevent accidents from happening from the front, even if the driver has to sacrifice a little to save himself.
