CITO is a safe driving concept that is a mandatory routine for an efficient and prudent driver. This routine should be applied from the early stages of learning to drive so that when you become a competent driver, this routine becomes integrated and done all the time. Safe Driving Routine or CITO are steps that need to be practiced throughout the driving process either to pass the hazard or to perform stunts such as starting to move cutting, turning etc. It is intended to obtain information to identify the hazards around the area before doing any exercise. The steps to be taken are as follows
MIRROR
Rear and side view mirrors to get information on the back and sides of the vehicle.
SIGNAL
Appropriate signals to provide information and intentions to other road users
BLIND SPOT
Blind spot by turning the head up to the shoulder level to ensure that the hazard is not visible through the mirror
